Promotion: One of the definitions of promotion is the act of furthering the growth or development of something.  In this case, the “something” is my rank or position as a full-time faculty member employed at the CUNY School of Professional Studies.

I have had the pleasure of employment at CUNY, my three time alma mater (CSI ’82, ’85, Hunter ’89), and entered the university as an assistant professor in 2015.  Since then, scholarship, teaching, and service competencies and dedication have expanded exponentially.  I remain continuously curious and immediately apply what I learn to grow both academically and professionally.
