Motivational Interviewing is an essential skill for patient care outcomes. I attended the New York City College of Technology SAMHSA Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment Faculty Training. In order to become acquainted with the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) standards that accredit our program I attended this ACEN Self-Study Forum in Atlanta, GA.
